The IIFP is an institution that was founded to train, educate, and certify a competent workforce for the non-interest financial services industry. It was officially registered on August 7, 2014, after receiving "no objection" letters from four government bodies: the Federal Ministry of Education, Federal Ministry of Justice, Federal Ministry of Finance, and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
